VIENNA: Many museums were closed on Mondays, so we headed for one that wasn't: The Schönbrunn Palace on the edge of the city. This sprawling estate was the summer home of the Hapsburgs who ruled over the Austro-Hungarian Empire before World War I. It's a major tourist attraction, where you can watch strudel being made or--less authentic--buy a "Hapsburger."
